The wispy white clouds in the bright blue sky float over the endless rolling prairie grass of northern Colorado. Suddenly, a low rumbling sound, breaking the silence on the prairie, is heard coming from the west in the direction of the shimmering mountain peaks. The rumbling grows in volume and rises to a thundering roar as hundreds of shaggy Buffalo converge on the spot of prairie known as Briggsdale County. Not far behind are a group of cowboys/cowgirls packing their shooting irons and armed with cases of ammunition ready to do battle in hopes of taking home one of those prized Buffalo!
IMPRESSIVE...We sure hope so! FUN...we ABSOLUTELY know so!! Friday morning will begin with the opening of registration @ 7AM AND the arrival of those 'Prairie Schooner' for those of you who would enjoy camping (dry) at the range. The afternoon will be filled with the sounds of Lead on Steel? as competitors try to best each other during the side matches challenges that will continue on both Friday and Saturday afternoons. 12 FAST & CLOSE SASS Stages will be shot, 6 on Saturday morning and 6 more on Sunday morning GUARANTEED FUN!
